A page from "A Love Tale of Puteri Seri Gumum", a children's book aimed to promote English language learning amoung the young students of the Jakun community in Pahang, Malaysia. The story is an adaptation of a Jakun folklore that centers around themes of loyalty and love. I wrote this excerpt, and illustrated this princess-tured-dragon-turned-island.
